Even after you think you have let go, the past is still part of who you are. Every one lives in the present, but uses their life history and knowledge of their past to make choices. At some point in life something goes wrong, we were treated badly, trust was broken or our hearts where hurt.
While this pain is the body's natural reaction, sometimes the pain lingers to long. We relive the pain over and over and have a hard time letting go.
This causes problems, it can cause us to be unhappy, strain or ruin relationships, distract us from work and family and other important things or make us reluctant to open up to new things or people. We get caught in a cycle of anger and pain and lose out on the beauty of life.
Letting go doesn't erase the past or require you to forgive, but it goes help you gain control of your life and move on to better things.
In this session you will let go of the most pressing feelings that come forward for you. As this is a group session the experience will be quietly yours.
